<\/strong>This research critically analyzed the issue of money laundering as a contemporary financial crime, by examining its true nature, the stages it goes through, and its methods. It also discusses its effects and damages on the financial system in society. The researcher then proceeded to explain the Shariatic rulings related to this crime, clarifying the position of Islamic Sharia regarding money acquired through illegal means, whether the money remained in the possession of the person or was lost or consumed in various expenses. The study compared the Shariah perspective with the Omani law related to combating money laundering and terrorism financing issued by Royal Decree No. (30\/2016). The researcher concluded by revealing the Shariatic and legal measures to combat and prevent such crime before it takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">The researcher has reached a number of results, including that Oman is considered one of the leading countries in the field of combating money laundering through its partnership in international treaties, and its regulation of local agreements related to combating this crime.
